I’m Janyne (she/her), a Creative Computing Journalist and Multimedia Specialist who loves combining tech, design, and storytelling. Whether it’s animation, video editing, or data visualization, I thrive on turning complex ideas into visuals that resonate. Right now, I’m working on my M.A. in Digital Innovation at Concordia University, where I’m constantly exploring new ways to connect people through my work.
Over the years, I’ve worn many hats—from getting recognized by TV Globo for a standout news feature to leading post-production teams for online events with audiences in the tens of thousands. I’ve even dived into 3D motion design just for the fun of it! Currently, I’m collaborating with big-name clients like Pepsi, P&G, and J.P. Morgan directing cinematics at Animated Storyboards, making sure every project pops and tells a story that sticks.
Fluent in English, Portuguese, and almost-there in French, I bring a global perspective to everything I do. I’m fascinated by how motion design and data viz can create more engaging content, and I’m always on the lookout for ways to make storytelling not just impactful, but fun and meaningful too.
When I’m not working, I’m crocheting, playing horror videogames or planning my trip to Italy. In the future, I'd love to pass on what I’ve learned to others, helping future creators blend their creativity with tech.
Let’s connect if you’re into visual storytelling, motion design, or just want to chat about how tech can make the world a more informed place!
